Purchases and General Terms and Conditions of Sale

Everything related to the legal and operational basis of the purchase.

The sending of any purchase order by the buyer to ParmaItaly-Shop Srl implies full and unreserved acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale. The buyer declares that they are of legal age, especially in relation to the purchase of alcoholic beverages.

Prices, descriptions, and availability of Products are specified in the respective sections on www.parmashop.com and are subject to change without notice.

Although the Products on www.parmashop.com are presented with the utmost technical accuracy possible, the representation on www.parmashop.com by any means (including, as applicable, graphic materials, images, colors, sounds) is to be understood as a mere reference and does not imply any guarantee regarding the characteristics of the Product purchased.

The order is considered final when the goods are handed over to the courier for delivery. ParmaItaly-Shop Srl reserves the right to cancel all or part of a purchase order within 2 working days of receipt, promptly notifying the customer of its decision. Payments for canceled orders will be refunded immediately.

Parmaitaly-shop srl points out that the prices available in the catalog and expressed in currencies other than the Euro are displayed according to the exchange rate on the day. The prices of products and packaging include VAT. Any customs duties are the responsibility of the customer.

The weights of the products listed on the website may vary by +/- 8% due to weight loss and/or the inability of the producer to guarantee a fixed weight.

Gifts may be accompanied by a card. The choice of card and the insertion of the text are made when placing the order. No indication of price is included in gifts. Orders with shipping to non-EU countries: a pro-forma invoice will be sent to customs.

Shipping and Delivery

Practical and logistical information on timings, couriers, and exceptions.

Shipping costs depend on weight/volume, shipping method (Standard or Express) and destination. The cost is automatically estimated at checkout. Additional charges may apply for islands or remote locations.

Free/Reduced Shipping

  • Italy: FREE for orders over €99.00.
  • Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands: REDUCED €5.00 for orders over €169.00.
  • Other EU countries (e.g. France, Spain, Poland): REDUCED €8.00 for orders over €169.00.

Shipping times (working days)

ITALY

  • Express: 1 to 2 working days.

EU COUNTRIES

  • Standard: 3 to 5 working days.
  • Express: 1 to 3 working days.

NON-EU COUNTRIES

  • Standard: 5 to 7 working days.
  • Express: 2 to 4 working days.

    Upon shipment, you will receive an email/text message from the courier with information to track your delivery online.

    For islands and remote locations, delivery times may be longer than those indicated.

    The customer is required to promptly provide Parmashop, the courier, customs, or any other institution involved in the logistics of the order with all information or personal data necessary for the delivery of the order.

Shipping days
Where necessary, to ensure the preservation of vacuum-packed perishable products, polystyrene thermal containers (or, where possible, eco-friendly packaging) and synthetic ice packs for food are used.

Products are shipped via DHL, FedEx, SDA, or UPS.

  • Non-perishable products: shipped every working day.
  • Italy and EU countries: Winter ( every day), Summer Standard ( Monday to Wednesday), Express ( Monday to Thursday).
  • Non-EU countries: Winter ( every day), Summer Standard ( Monday), Express ( Monday to Wednesday).

During the summer, perishable products are not shipped on Thursdays and Fridays to avoid them being left in the couriers' warehouses. Shipments are postponed to Monday.


failure to deliver In the event of non-delivery (due to incorrect address, absence of the recipient, refusal of the goods, etc.), ParmaItaly-Shop Srl will retain the full amount of the order.

If the package is damaged, accept it with reservation or refuse it (in Italy/EU).

Report any missing or damaged products within 7 days of delivery to info@parmashop.com, attaching photographic documentation.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
The right of withdrawal applies only to consumers who purchase from a country within the European Union.

You have the right to withdraw from the purchase contract within 14 working days of receiving the goods, without having to provide any reason.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, send written notification to info@parmashop.com indicating:

  • Order number.
  • Product(s) to be returned.
  • Personal details and bank details (in case of bank transfer).

Conditions for return:

  • The product must be intact, unused, and returned in its original packaging.
  • The goods must be returned within 14 days of notification of withdrawal.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer (except for incorrect or defective products).

The refund will be made within 14 working days of receipt of the return.

Exceptions (Art. 59 of the Consumer Code):

  • Goods made to measure or clearly personalized.
  • Goods that are likely to deteriorate or expire rapidly (cheeses, cured meats, fresh pasta, and artisanal desserts with a short shelf life).
  • Sealed goods that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons and have been opened after delivery.

Payments

Everything related to accepted payment methods, security, and technical specifications.

Accepted payment methods:

  • Credit or debit cards ( Visa, Mastercard, American Express).
  • PayPal.
  • Advance bank transfer.
  • Cash on delivery (only for orders in Italy).

All online payments are made via a secure connection (SSL) and are managed by certified providers. Under no circumstances will the website obtain or store the User's complete payment card details.

In the case of payment by bank transfer, the order will only be processed after receipt of payment. Bank details will be provided upon confirmation of the order.

In the case of cash on delivery, payment will be made directly to the courier in cash. We recommend that you prepare the exact amount, as couriers are not always able to provide change.

Any refunds, in the event of a return or cancellation of the order, will be issued using the same payment method used at the time of purchase.

Customer Service and Guarantees

Consumer protection rights, resolutions, and guarantees.

Pursuant to Articles 128 et seq. of the Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005), all products sold by ParmaItaly-Shop Srl to end consumers are covered by the Legal Guarantee of Conformity, which protects the consumer in the event of defective products, products that do not work or products that do not conform to the description provided on the website.

Duration of the warranty

The legal warranty is valid for 24 months from the date of delivery of the goods, limited to non-perishable goods.

For perishable goods (such as fresh or packaged food), the warranty applies within the limits of the expiry date or minimum storage period indicated on the product.

What does the Legal Guarantee of Conformity cover?

The warranty covers any lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery of the product. In the event of a defect, the consumer is entitled, free of charge, to have the goods replaced, or to a price reduction or termination of the contract in the most serious cases.

How to make a complaint

The consumer must report the defect within 2 months of discovery by sending an email to info@parmashop.com, indicating:

  • Order number.
  • Description of the defect.

and attaching:

  • Photographic documentation (if useful).
  • Original packaging, if available.

ParmaItaly-Shop Srl will respond within a reasonable time frame and provide instructions for handling the complaint.

What is NOT covered by the Legal Guarantee of Conformity

The warranty does not apply in the event of damage caused by improper use, incorrect storage, or negligence on the part of the customer, or if the products are altered, tampered with, or used in a manner not in accordance with their intended use.
