Historic and famous, the Parmigiano Reggiano DOP it has been produced with the same ingredients for more than eight centuries and has become one of the symbols of the Po Valley.

It is produced only in the provinces of Parma, Reggio Emilia, Modena, Bologna, and Piacenza, obtaining the Protected Designation of Origin ( the mothers of this masterpiece are Friesian cows.

The Parmigiano Reggiano it spread so widely and so quickly throughout the world that it was mentioned by great writers such as Boccaccio in the Decameron and Robert Louis Stevenson in his famous novel Treasure Island.

The delicious mountain Parmigiano Reggiano DOP is sent with its own utensils to facilitate its use: the wooden grater table grater with a special drawer (great for all hard cheeses), the knife almond-shaped knife typical for Parmigiano Reggiano and the beautiful ceramic cheese dish with teaspoon to serve it grated on any occasion.
