Saporoso is a condiment made with Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, produced by Acetaia Malpighi at the Tenuta del Cigno farm on the outskirts of Modena. The condiment is obtained from cooked Trebbiano and Lambrusco grape must and matures slowly in 500 oak barrels with a capacity of 220 liters each. Oak wood is known for its hardness and resistance to weathering, which guarantees excellent aging of the product.
To mark the twentieth anniversary of Saporoso we are offering this Super Limited Edition box set containing three special bottles of the condiment.
- The first contains Saporoso (100 ml), which has been aged for at least 6 years in fine oak barrels and is soft, full-bodied, and very versatile in the kitchen with a density of 1.30.
- The second contains Saporoso Riserva (100 ml), which has been aged for at least 8 years in fine oak barrels and has a sweet and sour, velvety, intense taste and high density (1.34).
- Finally, the third contains Saporoso Platinum (100 ml), which has been aged for 8 years in oak barrels and for another 2 years in mulberry wood barrels. This double aging process gives the product a special bouquet of aromas and fragrances with a density of 1.35.
Each version of Saporoso is special and so versatile in the kitchen: what changes is the aging period, which makes it denser and more refined. You can use each version on all types of raw or grilled vegetables, roasts, and game.
