Tortiglioni, of Roman origins, is a type of pasta typical of the Italian tradition, one of the many variations of Napolitan maccheroni. This type of pasta is original and versatile at the same time. 

The stripes on their surface and the large diameter allow the tortiglione to  retain the sauce and give back every flavour’s shade, so it is recommended to dress this pasta with full-bodied condiments.

A plate of tortiglioni is excellent when served with a hot and tasty ragù. It is good also with tomato or vegetable sauces. This type of pasta is also suitable to prepare baked pies.

How to store it: store it in a dry and cool place
